They have a great range and are nice and local.

Wimbledon Broadway

Wimbledon Broadway is home to Robert Dyas, for those general supplies and also Maplin for those electronics parts.

Go green – recycle

Local waste and recycling centres are located at Weir Road and Garth Road. They are Open 8am to 4pm, seven days a week for cars.

Local DIY Stores

Other local stores we recommend are WICKES at 53 PLOUGH LANE and Homebase on Weir Rd.

We sort of love Toolstation

We’ve just come across the ad for Toolstation.

Although we are great fans of Toolstation we don’t love it as much as we did since the returns policy changed. Instead of getting a year to return unused items Toolstation now offer a pathetic 30 days which means we have been buying a lot stuff more stuff from Wickes.

Shed DIY is alive and well in South Wimbledon. Last year we put together a 18 foot by 6 foot shed supplied by The Shed Centre, London Road, Mitcham.

Another great place in Wimbledon is TLC located at Chelsea Fields, just off of Western Road, Merton. They operate a trade counter that can supply all your electrical needs.
